Ilya Tokhner formerly served as CEO of Alpha Investing for nearly four years. He now helps oversee and manage business development and strategic partnerships.
Ilya was named among the “52 Hottest New Stars in Silicon Valley” by Business Insider in 2014. Prior to Alpha Investing, Ilya was the first employee and Head of Business Development at AnyPerk, a Y-Combinator company. Ilya was instrumental in taking the company from zero to over $2M in annual recurring revenue and built a team of 55 in just 2 1/2 years.
Prior to AnyPerk, Ilya headed Business Development at Bina Technologies, a Stanford spin off venture, which has raised $17.2M in funding. Prior to Bina, Ilya worked in International Sales at Boeing.
Ilya holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University and a B.S. in International Business, Magna Cum Laude, Cal State Long Beach.
Principal and Director of Finance
As a former Fortune 500 account auditor with international experience, Fark has deep understanding of corporate finance and business strategy.
Fark Tari oversees all of Alpha Investing’s accounting and corporate finance, as well as much of the firm’s strategy and operations.
Prior to Alpha Investing, he worked at Deloitte & Touche as a CPA. He executed financial statement and internal control audits for multiple Fortune 500 clients. His tenure at Deloitte included a 3 month assignment in India, where he managed communication between the U.S. and India audit engagement teams.
Fark also consulted for San Francisco startup, AnyPerk, establishing the strategic finance function within the company and building iterative financial models that facilitated the closing of the company’s $8.5 million Series A round of funding.
Fark holds a B.S. in Engineering Science and Economics, and a Masters of Accounting from Vanderbilt University. Additionally, he holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management where he graduated in the top 10% of his class as a Dean’s Scholar and a member of the Anderson Honors Society. In his spare time, he enjoys participating in half-marathons and playing the violin.
Daniel J. Cocca Jr., Esq.
Principal and General Counsel
New York-based attorney and licensed real estate broker experienced with capital markets, technology companies, and start-up legal and business issues.
Daniel Cocca serves as general counsel for Alpha Investing and oversees much of the firm’s due diligence process on investments.
Daniel is based in New York and spent time as an associate in the capital markets group at Proskauer Rose and then as a technology companies associate at Goodwin Procter. Pitchbook recently ranked Goodwin Procter as the top legal advisor for venture capital IPO and M&A exits.
While at Goodwin, Daniel advised start-up and venture-backed clients on a variety of legal and business issues ranging from general corporate matters to start-up and growth capital financing, IPOs, and mergers/acquisitions. He was also a member of the firm’s FinTech and Crowdfunding incubators.
Daniel is admitted to practice law in New York where he also holds a real estate broker’s license. Daniel earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University and dual B.S. degrees in Finance and Economics from the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University.
Vice President of Underwriting
With over ten years of commercial real estate experience, Anne is a real estate professional with experience across multiple asset classes.
Anne Lin oversees the underwriting and diligence of new investments, as well as the asset and portfolio management of Alpha Investing’s existing portfolio.
Prior to joining Alpha Investing, Anne was a Vice President at AllianceBernstein in the Real Estate Group, which raised $6.5 billion of dedicated capital for opportunistic equity and transitional lending investments. She built out the portfolio and risk management platforms for the two opportunistic equity funds and was responsible for fund management, which included performance monitoring, strategic planning and financial forecasting. Before AllianceBernstein, Anne worked at Starwood Capital Group, a global real estate investment firm with $56 billion of assets under management. Anne started her career as an Analyst at Lazard Alternative Investments.
Anne holds a B.S. in Commerce with concentrations in Finance and Information Technology from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
Vice President of Strategy
AdaPia is a passionate and visionary executive with extensive experience across countries and cultures in both established and start-up environments.
AdaPia d’Errico oversees Alpha Investing’s growth strategy with an emphasis on investor growth and relations.
Previously, AdaPia was Chief Marketing Officer at Patch of Land, one of the first real estate crowdfunding platforms, helping to grow the company from 3 founders to a VC-backed firm of over 50 people. She was also Chief Operating Officer at AlphaFlow, an investment management firm developing an automated portfolio algorithm for real estate investing, and shepherded the company through its $4.3 million seed round in 2017.
A recognized and respected woman in real estate and fintech, AdaPia has been a featured guest, writer, speaker, and presenter on topics including entrepreneurship, leadership, marketing, and women in business. She dedicates part of her time to personal endeavors that make an impact including a podcast, a blog and leadership development emphasizing diversity and inclusion.
AdaPia holds a B.B.A from the University of British Columbia and a B.A in International Business Economics from Hogeschool Zeeland, The Netherlands.
Vice President of Commercial Real Estate
With over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, Todd brings deep industry expertise to the Alpha Investing team.
Todd Friedenberg is responsible for sourcing new sponsor relationships and evaluating investment opportunities for Alpha Investing.
Todd is President of Q10 | Vista Commercial Mortgage Group and has over 30 years of commercial real estate experience in finance, brokerage and valuation consulting. He was previously a Vice-President with GE Commercial Finance and Column Financial, and has served as a commercial mortgage banker since 1990 in Nashville, Tennessee. He has arranged debt and equity financing for commercial real estate projects totaling well over $2 Billion since 1990.
Todd is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) with the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute, has earned an Associate CRI designation from the Chartered Realty Investor Society, is a Tennessee Certified General Appraiser and holds a Tennessee Affiliate Brokers License.
Todd is a graduate of Indiana University where he received a B.S. in Business, majoring in Finance and Real Estate Administration. He is involved with several Nashville area non-profit organizations and currently serves as Board Chairman of Samaritan Recovery Community.

Jon is a serial entrepreneur who serves as a consultant and board adviser to early stage companies. He is a Mentor at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center and an Adjunct Professor of Management at Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management where he also served as Associate Dean for Health Care and Associate Dean of Students. Prior to joining Owen, Mr. Lehman served as the CEO of healthcare IT company, Inphact, that he lead to a merger with a Canadian public company. He was an early stage investor and served as Executive Vice President and Director of Futurekids, an international computer training company, that was later acquired by a leading educational software company. He also founded and served as Principal of a venture development firm, Section Companies. He holds AB in Economics from Colgate University, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa and an MBA from Harvard Business School with Distinction. He has two children and is an avid cyclist, tennis player and world traveler.

President at an industry-leading commercial real estate firm, with more than two decades of domestic and international investment experience.
Kevin holds the title of President of Titan Real Estate Investment Group, Inc. Under his leadership, Titan has acquired nearly $2.0 billion of commercial real estate, including 6 million square feet of office, industrial, cold storage and retail properties and more than 26,000 units of multifamily and senior housing units throughout the U.S.
Mr. Kaseff has more than 20 years of investment experience in acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing and asset management. He has successfully completed and managed commercial real estate transactions nationally and internationally, including assignments in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia. Kevin holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Mr. Kaseff is a guest lecturer for the University of Southern California’s Entrepreneur Program, serves on the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management Board of Visitors and the Chair of the Owen Real Estate Advisory Council.
Co-founder & Advisor, Alpha Investing
Ross Reagan is a co-founder and advisor of Alpha Investing and previously served as the firm’s Managing Director for nearly four years.
Ross has 10 years of private equity and investment experience. He has participated in over $500 million dollars in real estate investment transactions and has worked in sales, management, acquisitions, and dispositions. He currently manages investor funds in a number of private equity asset classes and consults with hedge funds and private managers. He also serves as an advisor to Alpha Investing.
During his tenure as Managing Director, Ross oversaw investments for Alpha Investing, including investor and sponsor relationships, investment analysis, and business strategy. He holds both the Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses.
Prior to Alpha Investing, Ross was consultant to top-tier private equity firms, including Blackstone, BlackRock and Caymus, helping source and analyze commercial real estate and private equity investments. In 2013, he helped lead a real estate sales team that Wall Street Journal ranked #9 in the country.
Ross is a licensed CA Real Estate Broker, IRONMAN triathlete, Real Estate Entrepreneur and Investor. He holds a B.S. in Finance, Real Estate and Entrepreneurship from Cal State Long Beach.

As Founder, President & CEO, Greg has laid the foundation of Wedgewood’s corporate vision. He started Wedgewood in 1985 after spending several years at Murdock Development Company as Assistant to the President of Murdock Hotels Corporation. Earlier in his career, he worked as a financial analyst at Crocker Bank in San Francisco. Greg earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1980, and his M.B.A. from UCLA’s Graduate School of Management in 1982.

Prior to Teles Properties and Srilo Ventures, Sharran was on the top team at Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse Private Wealth Management for the Southeast Region. An international attorney turned real-estate developer that acquires and manages diverse real estate investments.
Mr. Loewy is an international attorney who began his career with Fragomen Del Rey Bernsen and Loewy LLP, one of the world’s largest immigration law firms. After managing a number of the firm’s domestic offices, leading to its international growth and eventual placement among the American Law Top 200 law firms, he achieved tenure as managing partner.
As CEO of real estate development firm Lowy Armstrong LLC, Loewy directed projects all over California for over 20 years. During that time, the firm acquired and managed diverse real estate investments, including commercial and residential leaseholds, high-end residential development and renovation projects and larger-scale housing projects.
Executive Vice President, GHC Housing Partners
A seasoned real estate executive with over twenty years of experience in real estate development and finance.
Monique Lawshe, an Executive Vice President at GHC Housing Partners LLC (GHC), joined the firm during 2002 to expand the company’s expertise in acquisition, finance and development or renovation of affordable housing. She has extensive experience with the use of Low Income Housing Tax Credits, multi‐layered financing structures and HUD programs, as well as conventional financing methods.
While at GHC, Ms. Lawshe has directed the acquisition of more than 175 properties with 20,000+ units for low income households. She assembled financing in excess of $1 Billion dollars for the acquisition and renovation of affordable housing, located throughout the country, including large apartment portfolios. Ms. Lawshe identifies property acquisitions and coordinates activity required to complete the acquisition and renovation of each property.
Prior to joining GHC, Ms. Lawshe served as the Chief Executive Officer of A Community of Friends, a Los Angeles‐based non‐profit development organization. Under her leadership, ACOF produced approximately 800 units of permanent affordable housing for people with special needs in Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties. During her tenure, ACOF also raised more than $100 million in capital from private and public sources. She was instrumental in directing significant growth of the company, over a 10‐year period.
Ms. Lawshe completed an MBA with a concentration in Real Estate Finance at the UCLA Anderson School of Management and has a B.S. in Industrial Management/Industrial Engineering from Purdue University.

As President and CEO of Kenrick Ventures, Inc., Mr. Chalmers oversees all company operations, including investments, brokerage, consulting, joint ventures and partnerships.
Prior to Kenrick Ventures, Mr. Chalmers served as First Vice President at Arden Realty, Inc, which was a premier publicly traded real estate investment trust (REIT). At Arden Realty, Mr. Chalmers was responsible for overseeing the largest region in the company and was accountable for the overall financial performance of a commercial portfolio valued in excess of $2 billion and consisting of over 7.5 million square feet in 38 properties.
Prior to joining Arden Realty, Mr. Chalmers served in various capacities at some of the most successful real estate companies in the country and was instrumental in providing tremendous gains for those companies and their investors. Mr. Chalmers received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics / Business from the University of California at Los Angeles and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in California. He is a member of numerous real estate organizations, community volunteer committees and non-profit groups.

Steve Ogrin brings with him extensive experience in investment banking, asset management and investment research. In addition to his role with Alpha Investing, Steve is currently the Chief Operating Officer of a boutique investment research and due diligence company that’s focused on performing analysis and due diligence work on alternative investment sponsors and products targeting billions of dollars in real estate and energy investments. Prior to his current role, Steve worked with an investment bank focusing on sell-side mergers and acquisitions, transaction modeling, company valuation and restructuring analysis. Prior to this, Steve worked with the asset management groups at Goldman Sachs and T. Rowe Price, focusing on the portfolio selection and trading needs of corporate clients and retirement funds. Steve received his MBA in Finance, Economics and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and also holds a B.S. degree in Finance from Colorado State University.
