Fark Tari

Chief Executive Officer

As a former Deloitte auditor turned real estate executive, Fark has a deep understanding of corporate finance, commercial real estate investing, and business strategy and growth.

Fark joined Alpha Investing as a Co-Founder in 2015. During his tenure, he has directed investments into dozens of properties across multiple sponsors, asset classes and geographies, which have an aggregate value of well over $1 billion. As Chief Executive Officer, Fark oversees much of the firm’s day-to-day operations and overall strategic direction.

Prior to Alpha Investing, he worked at Deloitte & Touche as a CPA. He executed financial statement and internal control audits for multiple Fortune 500 clients. His tenure at Deloitte included a three-month assignment in Hyderabad, India, where he managed communication between the U.S. and India audit engagement teams.

Fark also consulted for a Bay Area startup, establishing the strategic finance function within the company and building iterative financial models that facilitated the closing of the company’s $8.5 million Series A round of funding.

Fark holds a B.S. in Engineering Science and Economics, and a Master’s in Accounting from Vanderbilt University. Additionally, he holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management where he graduated in the top 10% of his class as a Dean’s Scholar and a member of the Anderson Honors Society. In his spare time, he volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Daniel J. Cocca Jr., Esq.

Managing Director, Principal and General Counsel

As a former corporate attorney at Proskauer Rose and Goodwin Procter in New York City, Daniel brings a wealth of experience related to structuring complex transactions, capital markets and securities matters.

Daniel joined Alpha Investing in 2015 as a Co-Founder and its General Counsel. He spearheads the firm’s sponsor acquisition and oversees the firm’s due diligence processes as well as all legal matters. While at Alpha, Daniel has directed investments into real estate assets with an aggregate value of over $1 billion – structuring and executing transactions across multiple asset classes, geographies and capital structures.

Immediately prior to joining Alpha Investing, Daniel represented a broad range of start-up, venture-backed and growth companies in connection with technology and capital raising transactions (including IPOs) at Goodwin Procter in New York. Daniel began his legal career as a capital markets attorney at Proskauer Rose where he represented investment banks, lenders and issuers in connection with domestic and international debt and equity offerings and committed acquisition financings. Both Proskauer Rose and Goodwin Procter are top 40 ranked global law firms.

Daniel is admitted to practice law in New York where he also holds a real estate broker’s license. Daniel earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University and dual B.S. degrees in Finance and Economics from the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University.

Anne Lin

Vice President of Underwriting

With over ten years of commercial real estate experience, Anne is a real estate professional with experience across multiple asset classes.

Anne oversees the underwriting and diligence of new investments, as well as the asset and portfolio management of Alpha Investing’s existing portfolio.

Prior to joining Alpha Investing, Anne was a Vice President at AllianceBernstein in the Real Estate Group, which raised $6.5 billion of dedicated capital for opportunistic equity and transitional lending investments. She built out the portfolio and risk management platforms for the two opportunistic equity funds and was responsible for fund management, which included performance monitoring, strategic planning and financial forecasting. Before AllianceBernstein, Anne worked at Starwood Capital Group, a global real estate investment firm with $56 billion of assets under management. Anne started her career as an Analyst at Lazard Alternative Investments.

Anne holds a B.S. in Commerce with concentrations in Finance and Information Technology from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.

AdaPia d'Errico

Vice President of Strategy

AdaPia is a passionate and visionary executive with extensive experience across countries and cultures in both established and start-up environments.

AdaPia oversees Alpha Investing’s growth strategy with an emphasis on investor growth and relations.

Previously, she was Chief Marketing Officer at Patch of Land, one of the first real estate crowdfunding platforms, helping to grow the company from 3 founders to a VC-backed firm of over 50 people. AdaPia was also Chief Operating Officer at AlphaFlow, an investment management firm developing an automated portfolio algorithm for real estate investing, and shepherded the company through its $4.3 million seed round in 2017.

A recognized and respected woman in real estate and fintech, AdaPia has been a featured guest, writer, speaker, and presenter on topics including entrepreneurship, leadership, marketing, and women in business.  She dedicates part of her time to personal endeavors that make an impact including a podcast, a blog and leadership development emphasizing diversity and inclusion.

AdaPia holds a B.B.A from the University of British Columbia and a B.A in International Business Economics from Hogeschool Zeeland, The Netherlands.

Todd Friedenberg

Vice President of Commercial Real Estate

With over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, Todd brings deep industry expertise to the Alpha Investing team.

Todd is responsible for sourcing new sponsor relationships and evaluating investment opportunities for Alpha Investing.

Todd is President of Q10 | Vista Commercial Mortgage Group and has over 30 years of commercial real estate experience in finance, brokerage and valuation consulting. He was previously a Vice-President with GE Commercial Finance and Column Financial, and has served as a commercial mortgage banker since 1990 in Nashville, Tennessee. He has arranged debt and equity financing for commercial real estate projects totaling well over $2 Billion since 1990.

Todd is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) with the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute, has earned an Associate CRI designation from the Chartered Realty Investor Society, is a Tennessee Certified General Appraiser and holds a Tennessee Affiliate Brokers License.

Todd is a graduate of Indiana University where he received a B.S. in Business, majoring in Finance and Real Estate Administration. He is involved with several Nashville area non-profit organizations and currently serves as Board Chairman of Samaritan Recovery Community.

Chris Schmidt

Director of Asset Management

Chris has 10 years of commercial real estate experience in asset management, operations, and construction across multiple asset classes and geographies.

Prior to joining Alpha Investing, Chris was the Director of Asset Management for The Clear Blue Company. He created the company’s asset management and renovation departments. From his hire at its inception, Clear Blue grew to over 4,500 units and more than $650MM in AUM. He is well versed in due diligence, financial statement analysis, debt strategies, operational and CapEx budgeting, repositioning of troubled assets, and portfolio risk management.

Working at the sponsor level, Chris was responsible for the business plan for each asset in the portfolio. He set the strategy for each property during underwriting, then executed the strategy from purchase to disposition. Throughout the life of each deal, he regularly adjusted the business plans compared to underwriting. This process of monitoring and adjusting helped maximize NOI and better positioned the assets in the face of changing market or macro-economic conditions.

Prior to Clear Blue, Chris worked for a major national retailer in their real estate department.  There he recommended new store locations, lease renewals, and store closures. His recommendations were based on financial statement, demographic, and market analysis. He also performed underwriting and project management of the company’s real estate development activities. These included value-add retail re-developments and ground-up construction of retail, office, hospitality and multifamily.

Chris holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama and has an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Chall Robertson

Director of Operations

A former Ernst & Young auditor, Chall has experience across a broad range of industries.

Chall joined Alpha Investing in 2019 as an Associate to help improve efficiencies in across multiple facets of the firm, including operations, marketing, and portfolio analysis, among others. In 2023 he earned the position of Director of Operations and continues to oversee various important functions within the Alpha platform.

Prior to joining Alpha Investing, Chall was an Audit Senior & CPA with Ernst & Young, with experience in a broad range of industries, from healthcare to manufacturing. As a former auditor, he has extensive experience in financial statement preparation and analysis, having worked with companies of various sizes, ages, and legal forms. Chall also brings experience managing teams to maximize efficiency and productivity while remaining on track with tight schedules.

Chall earned a B.A. in Philosophy with a minor in Corporate Strategy, and a Master’s in Accounting from Vanderbilt University. He lives in Nashville, where he enjoys playing frisbee with his dogs in the park.

Associate

A former acquisitions analyst and property manager, Joseph is well versed in acquiring multifamily assets and generating value through operational efficiency.

Joseph joined Alpha Investing in 2021 as a Senior Analyst within the Asset Management team. He is responsible for monitoring the performance of multifamily assets within the Alpha Investing portfolio.

Prior to joining Alpha Investing, Joseph worked for a private real estate firm located in Nashville, Tennessee where he served across a variety of functions. He conducted economic research across the Southeast region to locate attractive markets to transact in. Additionally, he sourced, underwrote, and helped create business plans for multifamily acquisitions in those markets as a part of his firm’s initiative to grow its multifamily portfolio.

Joseph is a graduate of Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN where he received a BBA in Business Administration, majoring in Finance.

Kevin Kaseff

President & CEO, Titan Real Estate Investment Group

President at an industry-leading commercial real estate firm, with more than two decades of domestic and international investment experience.

Kevin holds the title of President of Titan Real Estate Investment Group, Inc. Under his leadership, Titan has acquired nearly $2.0 billion of commercial real estate, including 6 million square feet of office, industrial, cold storage and retail properties and more than 26,000 units of multifamily and senior housing units throughout the U.S.

Mr. Kaseff has more than 20 years of investment experience in acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing and asset management. He has successfully completed and managed commercial real estate transactions nationally and internationally, including assignments in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia. Kevin holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Mr. Kaseff is a guest lecturer for the University of Southern California’s Entrepreneur Program, serves on the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management Board of Visitors and the Chair of the Owen Real Estate Advisory Council.

Greg Geiser

Founder, President & CEO, Wedgewood Enterprises

Founder, president and CEO of a vertically integrated residential property acquisition firm.

As Founder, President & CEO, Greg has laid the foundation of Wedgewood’s corporate vision. He started Wedgewood in 1985 after spending several years at Murdock Development Company as Assistant to the President of Murdock Hotels Corporation. Earlier in his career, he worked as a financial analyst at Crocker Bank in San Francisco. Greg earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1980, and his M.B.A. from UCLA’s Graduate School of Management in 1982.

David Wehrly

Vice President & COO, Wedgewood Enterprises

Vice president and COO of a leading U.S. acquirer of residential real estate.

David, one of the original partners in the company, splits his time between ensuring the smooth operation of the organization and spearheading new opportunities and new businesses. He joined Wedgewood in 1986 after spending a year at Procter & Gamble. He is a graduate of both the United States Marine Corps Officer Candidate Program and UCLA’s class of 1984.

Peter Kim

Physician, Founder, Curbside Real Estate

An anesthesiologist, an experienced and influential real estate investor, and a successful entrepreneur.

Dr. Kim is an anesthesiologist, an experienced real estate investor, as well as a successful entrepreneur. He is the founder of Curbside Real Estate which connects physician home buyers to a trusted network of lenders and real estate agents nationwide. He is also the creator of the site, Passive Income M.D., whose mission is to help physicians navigate the world of personal finance and real estate investing.

John Del Piero

Vice President of Global eDiscovery Solutions, Lighthouse

John Del Piero is a prolific investor, advisor, and executive in early to mid stage professional services companies.

John is currently the Vice President of Global eDiscovery Solutions at Lighthouse, a legal technology consulting firm. As a sales executive and shareholder, John fostered 65x growth of the company over 10 years, developing deep integrated partnerships with law firms and Fortune 500 corporations.

As an investor, John was an advisor, shareholder and board member of a rapidly growing mobile development company, App Partner Development, that was eventually acquired by UiPath, a multi-billion dollar process automation company.

John also co-founded an alternative energy and diamond fabrication research and development firm, IOP Technologies, that was funded by both NASA and the NSF. The business was later acquired by a private group of investors.

John holds a B.S. in Engineering Science and Economics from Vanderbilt University.

Ilya Tokhner

Founder and Advisor

Experienced with both startup growth and fundraising, Ilya has led significant expansion efforts and was previously named among the “52 Hottest New Stars in Silicon Valley.”

Ilya Tokhner formerly served as CEO of Alpha Investing for nearly four years. He now advises the firm on business development and strategic partnerships.

Ilya was named among the “52 Hottest New Stars in Silicon Valley” by Business Insider in 2014. Prior to Alpha Investing, Ilya was the first employee and Head of Business Development at AnyPerk, a Y-Combinator company. Ilya was instrumental in taking the company from zero to over $2M in annual recurring revenue and built a team of 55 in just 2 1/2 years.

Prior to AnyPerk, Ilya headed Business Development at Bina Technologies, a Stanford spin off venture, which has raised $17.2M in funding. Prior to Bina, Ilya worked in International Sales at Boeing.

Ilya holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University and a B.S. in International Business, Magna Cum Laude, Cal State Long Beach.

Ross Reagan

Co-founder & Advisor

Ross Reagan is a co-founder and advisor of Alpha Investing and previously served as the firm’s Managing Director for nearly four years.

Ross has 10 years of private equity and investment experience. He has participated in over $500 million dollars in real estate investment transactions and has worked in sales, management, acquisitions, and dispositions. He currently manages investor funds in a number of private equity asset classes and consults with hedge funds and private managers. He also serves as an advisor to Alpha Investing.

During his tenure as Managing Director, Ross oversaw investments for Alpha Investing, including investor and sponsor relationships, investment analysis, and business strategy. He holds both the Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses.

Prior to Alpha Investing, Ross was consultant to top-tier private equity firms, including Blackstone, BlackRock and Caymus, helping source and analyze commercial real estate and private equity investments. In 2013, he helped lead a real estate sales team that Wall Street Journal ranked #9 in the country.

Ross is a licensed CA Real Estate Broker, IRONMAN triathlete, Real Estate Entrepreneur and Investor. He holds a B.S. in Finance, Real Estate and Entrepreneurship from Cal State Long Beach.
